If you only have 10 minutes, read this one Typography in Ten Minutes. And then you’ll probably end up reading the rest, because  Practical Typography is that good.

Another important resource is Graphic Design – it’s just a fantastic resource that explains the ins and outs of design, from the basics of paper sizes to overprinting issues and bitmap tutorials.
